The 77th Independence Day Celebration unfolded majestically at Innovative World School (IWS), becoming a hallmark event in our annual calendar. This day stood out, not just as a day of remembrance but also as a showcase of various events organized by our talented students.

Our day began with the impeccable March Past that spanned participants from kindergarten to Grade 9. A shining example of unity and discipline, this event spotlighted the dedication of our students to teamwork and unity. Their synchronised steps and harmonious commands resonated with the spirit of our nation’s freedom struggle.

The hoisting of the National Flag, led by our esteemed Principal, served as a poignant moment for all present. The tricolour was a reminder of our nation’s illustrious journey and the sacrifices made to ensure the freedom we enjoy today.

A key highlight, which was much anticipated, was the Fancy Dress Parade. Our vibrant kindergarten students embraced the roles of iconic freedom fighters such as Gandhiji, Nethaji, and Velu Naachiyaar. These mini renditions of our national heroes symbolised a bridge between our storied past and a promising future.

Our day was further elevated with diverse performances. Enthusiastic students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 mesmerized the audience with their renditions of timeless patriotic songs and dances. Each performance was a testament to the deep-rooted love and respect our students harbour for our great nation.
